Our Story
MidiStays began with a simple observation: more and more Australians were finding themselves in life's in-between seasons — relocating, renovating, caring for family, navigating relationship change, taking contract roles, or simply needing a place to land for a few months. At the same time, Hosts were looking for a calmer, lower-impact alternative to short-stay Hosting.
With experience across travel, hospitality, property and finance — and a shared belief that accommodation should feel human, fair and supportive — our team set out to create something that didn't exist yet: a dedicated space for midterm stays.
We built MidiStays to connect people who need a furnished home for 30 days to 6 months with Hosts who want reliable income without the churn of nightly bookings. What started as a gap in the market quickly became a mission to build a community where both sides feel respected, informed and in control.
